The challenge

The operating problem behind the project

Agrospecs operates in an international sector where trust, specification accuracy, and transparent trade information are essential. The company needed to present its products and services to suppliers and buyers across MENA, Europe, and the United Kingdom while bringing product specifications, market prices, logistics support, documentation, company credentials, and commercial inquiries into one professional bilingual presence.

The solution

How we designed the system

A fast and responsive bilingual website was designed and developed to communicate the Agrospecs brand and its agricultural sourcing and brokerage services. The website includes a catalog of agro commodities, food ingredients, and FMCG products; detailed specifications for key products; and indicative market prices loaded from an external editable source with reliable fallback data. It also provides a company profile, a featured product page, a structured commercial inquiry form, direct contact channels, an AI assistant, and an SEO foundation covering metadata, canonical URLs, social previews, and sitemap support.

Published implementation facts

Context
AGROSPECS UK LTD, a UK-registered agricultural brokerage and global sourcing company, needed a bilingual digital presence for its work across MENA, Europe, and the United Kingdom. The experience had to bring agro commodities, food ingredients, FMCG products, technical specifications, indicative market prices, trade services, and commercial contact into one credible destination.
Intended users
Importers, wholesalers, food manufacturers, and FMCG buyers, together with suppliers, producers, exporters, procurement teams, trade and logistics teams, and prospective partners across MENA, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
Constraints
Provide complete English and Arabic experiences with reliable RTL behavior; present specifications for a varied commodity portfolio clearly; let non-technical staff update indicative prices without code changes; retain fallback values when the external price source is unavailable; establish trust for an international trading company; and preserve responsive performance and search readiness across devices.
The Drix contribution
The Drix designed and developed the bilingual website experience and structured its services, products, specifications, and trust content. The work also included the Google Sheets and OpenSheet market-price integration, the XTRAKICK product page, a mail-based commercial enquiry flow, WhatsApp and telephone channels, the Chatbase AI assistant, SEO foundations, and an automated deployment workflow.
Launch status
Live and publicly accessible at www.agrospecs.co.uk.
Qualitative outcome
Agrospecs now has one structured bilingual destination for products, specifications, indicative prices, sourcing services, trust information, and commercial enquiries. Its team can also update displayed market prices through Google Sheets without changing the application code.

How we build projects

How the project was delivered

The website was implemented as a React and Vite single-page frontend with reusable components, public routes, and a dedicated product route. Language state controls English LTR and Arabic RTL presentation. Market prices are fetched when the relevant section approaches the viewport through OpenSheet connected to Google Sheets and are merged with local fallback values. Chatbase is deferred to reduce its effect on the initial load, React Helmet manages page metadata and canonical URLs, and GitLab CI/CD builds and deploys the production bundle.

  1. 1

    Bilingual trade content architecture

Sourcing services, brokerage capabilities, products, specifications, and company information were structured into Arabic and English experiences for international buyers and suppliers.

  2. 2

    Product, specification, and service experience

Interfaces were developed for agro commodities, food ingredients, and FMCG products, including technical specification pages, trade services, and company trust information.

  3. 3

    Dynamic market-price integration

Indicative prices were connected to Google Sheets through OpenSheet so non-technical staff can update them without code changes, while local fallback values remain available if the external source cannot be reached.

  4. 4

Enquiries, AI assistance, and search readiness

The commercial enquiry flow, email, telephone, and WhatsApp channels, and Chatbase assistant were implemented alongside metadata, canonical URLs, sitemap support, and automated deployment.
